Creature: I smell that Asagi guy. How dare you hunt my son!? I'll make you pay!

-Kaede coughs.-

Kurenai: His son?! What are you talking about?

Asagi: OH!

-Asagi looks up at the big creature.-

Asagi: I recognize that face. You must be the father of that stupid frog I met in Tokai Road. How is that idiot son of yours?

[Creature will now be named Big Frog]

Big Frog: Thanks to you, my son's gotta start all over from a tadpole!

-Asagi laughs.-

Asagi: Ha ha ha. Good. Raise him right this time. He wouldn't have much of a chance as such a loser anyway, right? Like father like son.

-The big frog snaps.-

-The Big Frog swings his sword fast against the ground, trying to hit Asagi.- SHUT UP!! Don't call us idiots!

-Asagi dashes out of the way.-

-The big frog notices theres no one there.- Huh?

-The big frog starts looking around the room.- Where'd he go? I don't see him.

-The frog notices a girl carrying a sword.-

Kaede: ..............

-Asagi and Kurenai are outside the temple, hiding in the bushes.-

-Kurenai pants.- You idiot! What are you provoking him for?! Imbecile!

-Asagi pants.- You're a demon... so why don't you put your demonic powers to use?

Kurenai: Heh. I don't mean to brag, but my flame technique is something else.

Asagi: Huh?

Kurenai: But, since I'm sealed, it's as worthless as a piece of flint without steel.

Asagi: Does Kaede have any powers?

Kurenai: She's a half-demon, so her powers are rather feeble

Asagi: Is that so? So her mother's a human then.

Kurenai: You have a problem with that?

Asagi: No. Just a bit surprised.

-Asagi looks down at the Moegi.-

Asagi: If only I could draw this Moegi out of it's sheath. A stupid frog like that would be a piece of cake.

Kurenai: Give up. I don't think so. Apparently only my sister's child can draw it.

Asagi: Really? Your sister's... Hey! You knew this and....

Kurenai: Hmph. That was more than a hundred years ago. demons carry their offspring for a period of 50 to 100 years. I don't even know if it's a girl or a boy. My sister's been lost for a long time, anyway. There's no way to search for her kid.

Asagi: Don't you want to be able to hold Kaede?

Kurenai: That's none of your business.... Hey. Where is Kaede?

Asagi" She was just here. Oops.

-Theres a yell coming from the temple.-Aaaaugh!

-Asagi and Kurenai dashes back to the temple.-Kaede!!

-The big frog grabs Kaede.-

Big Frog: How lovely. This is cute, I'll take it.

Kaede: Ugh... Let go!

Asagi: "Take it"?! Hey! You can't just take her!

Kurenai: Don't Touch her idiot! Stop joking, pig frog! Let go of Kaede!!

Big Frog: Huh? Did you say Kaede?!

-Asagi glares and his eyes start to turn gold.-

-Kurenai notices Asagi's eyes and thinks to himself.- His eyes are turning gold. He's not human!

-Kurenai looks at Asagi.- What are you doing, Asagi? There's no way you can draw....

-Asagi pulls.-

-Kurenai thinks to himself.- Wait a minute. If this guy's half-demon, there is a chance... No, what am I thinking? I just ran to him today. What are the odds... Too good to be true!!

-Chiiiiing...-

-Kurenai suddently vanishes and somehow enters Kaede's body.-

-There's a bright light as Kurenai enters Kaede's body.-

-Asagi is standing infront of the frog, holding the Moegi in his hand.-

Asagi: I drew it!!

Big Frog: Uggh... If this is Kaede, then that's probably the Moegi! I'll take that too.

Kaede: Heh heh heh. Bingo.

Big Frog: Huh?

-Kaede now has weird marks all over her face like Kurenai.-

-Kurenai places his hand on the frog's face.-Heh. Rather insightful for a stupid frog. Let me introduce myself this way.

Big Frog: Huh?

Kurenai: Have fun. -Kurenai shoots a fire blast out of his hand. And then Jumps out of the frog's hand.-

Big Frog: I'm burning! Ou... ou... OUCH.

Kurenai: Asagi!! Wake up! Slice him up along with his demon orb!!

-Asagi glares at the frog and without hesitation, he runs towards the huge frog and slices him up. The Frog's demon orb cracks and breaks. Slowly, the big frog starts vanishing.-

-Asagi pants and looks at the Moegi.- Amazing. Not even a dent.

Kurenai: I saw your eyes and realized you were a half-demon. But I never thought you'd be my sister's child...

-Asagi stares at Kurenai.-

Kurenai: A bit slow, aren't we? What, you can't tell? It's me, Kurenai.

Asagi: What?!

-Asagi puts away the Moegi.-

-Kurenai suddently comes out of Kaede's head. Kaede falls on the ground and starts sleeping.-

Asagi: What the heck is going on... That doesn't make sense.

Kurenai: How should I know? All of a sudden, I was blown into Kaede. It seems like it's only my sipirt that's sealed by that sword. My body is probably somewhere else.

Asagi: Seems? Probably? That doesn't sound very certain.

Kurenai: Hmph. I was fast asleep when it happened. I don't remember a thing.

Asagi: I hate to think how disappointed Kaede will be.

Kurenai: Why not help her look for my body? Works for me too.

Asagi: I can't take Kaede with me...

Kurenai: Hey! Are you planning to deceive her?

Asagi: No. But I'm a Karinin. Demons bear a lot of resentment toward me. In fact, that stupid frog wouldn't have attacked her if it wasn't for me. I shouldn't have gotten you two involved in the first place. You don't want to put your daughter in danger either, do you?

Kurenai: Then make sure you defend her. I'll burn you to crisp if you say anymore nonsense. If you're a man, risk your life to defend a woman or two. And didn't you promise Kaede that you'll let her meet the real me? That is why... I've decided to put some faith in you.

Asagi: Kurenai....

Kurenai: And if you still insist on leaving her behind. You'd better tell her yourself. I warn you though, If you disappear without a word, Kaede will search all over Japan until she finds you. And I'll be dragged along.

Asagi: Huh?! Are you serious?

Kurenai: Yep. She's real presistent. Heh. I guarantee you. I really spoiled that girl.

[The next day.]

-Kaede starts to wake up. She notices Asagi sitting besides her.- Asagi..Is it morning already?

Asagi: Yeah, it's a nice day.

-Kaede stares at Asagi.-

Asagi: What?

Kurenai: For a moment... I had the feeling you were going to leave...

-Asagi looks down for a moment.-

Asagi: I told you, didn't i? I'm going to help you meet your real father. -smiles.-

Kaede: Yeah! -Hug tackles Asagi.-

[They all get their stuff and leave the temple.]

-Kurenai is on top of Asagi's head, Kaede walking infront.-

Asagi: We'll start by going west.

Kaede: Okay!

[They start walking through the rocky path of the mountains.]
